DIEZ AÑOS SIN LA ROSA DE INGLATERRA
Lady Di, nació en Park House, Sandringham (Norfolk), el 1 de julio de 1961 y falleció en el hospital La Petié Salpetrière de París la noche del 30 al 31 de agosto de 1997.
Diana de gales fue la mujer más fotografiada en su época, no precisamente por ser la esposa del príncipe de Gales, sino por su dedicación a luchar por los más necesitados, sus viajes por el mundo entero acariciando a los enfermos y trabajando activamente para eliminar las minas antipersonales. Prestó su imagen pública a diferentes organismos humanitarios y apareció en multitud de actos de los sectores más variados de la sociedad.
"Goodbye England's rose, may you ever grow in our hearts. You were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart. You called out to our country, and you whispered to those in pain. Now you belong to heaven, and the stars spell out your name. And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind: never fading with the sunset when the rain set in.
